KGCE course requirements & outcome
The KGCE Fine Arts & Animation program empowers students with comprehensive artistic, technical, and professional skills through the integration of fine arts and digital arts. It nurtures creativity, imagination, and aesthetic awareness while building strong foundations in visual communication and responsible citizenship
Program Outcomes
After completing the program, students emerge as confident, skilled, and career-ready creative professionals:
Artistic & Creative Development: Master drawing, painting, sculpture, and hands-on visual expression, while cultivating personal style, imagination, and an understanding of the cultural and social significance of art.
Technical Skills: Gain industry-relevant expertise in graphic design, digital illustration, layout design, visual communication, 2D digital animation, and foundational exposure to 3D and stop-motion techniques, preparing graduates to work across print, digital, and multimedia platforms.
Personal & Social Growth: Build communication, collaboration, discipline, self-awareness, and emotional expression, helping students grow as adaptable, grounded individuals.
Career Readiness: Be prepared for a wide range of creative careers, including art faculty positions, graphic and digital design, motion graphics and animation, illustration, art curation, creative entrepreneurship, and specialized roles such as sketch artistry.
With a portfolio of original works, practical project experience, and the confidence to apply their skills in real-world settings, KGCE graduates are ready to contribute meaningfully to the creative economy, preserve cultural heritage, and pursue advanced studies or professional practice locally, nationally, or internationally.

Duration: 2 Years (Full-time)
Eligibility: SSLC or equivalent passed
Certification: Kerala Government Approved (KGCE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (80% attendance required)
Language: Malayalam & English ("Instruction is primarily in Malayalam to ensure accessibility for local students. Select technical subjects—such as Graphic Design and Animation—are taught in English to prepare graduates for national and international career opportunities.")
