🌟 OUR WHY🌟

  • Wayanad’s schools are facing a serious shortage of trained art educators, leaving thousands of children without creative learning opportunities.

  • Many tribal families in Wayanad continue to struggle with poverty and malnutrition, rooted in limited access to quality education, land loss and sustainable job opportunities.

  • Wayanad’s tribal communities are losing touch with their own rich cultural heritage, with fewer platforms to express, preserve, and celebrate their traditions.

  • Children are becoming increasingly disconnected and stressed, overwhelmed by excessive screen exposure and lacking hands-on, healing, art-based learning—leading to anxiety, poor concentration, and academic challenges.

  • Elders and adults in Wayanad are facing rising mental health issues, often resulting in substance abuse, social isolation, and even suicidal tendencies—problems that creative community programs can meaningfully address.
